Win a new Nokia Lumia 800 Phone

Support the ‘Nokia Pimp our Devs’ design contest and walk away the owner of a super intelligent Smartphone

Competition fatigue is a serious symptom of today’s social media scape, so we won’t waste your time with popcorn and peanut vouchers – that’s small potatoes – rather, we’re giving you the chance to win an amazing new Nokia Lumia 800 handset.

The recently-released, cutting edge Smartphone is worth a whopping R7000, and with Windows, super-fast browsing capabilities, an 8-megapixel camera, video and music play features and a sleek, award-winning design (did we also mention it’s touch screen), your life could get easier, faster and more connected in a matter of minutes.

Terms to win the Nokia Lumia 800

  • You must follow steps 1-4 above to qualify.
  • Winners will be randomly selected and announced on Friday, 6 July 2012

‘Pimp our Devs’ contest overview

The designer who comes up with the most imaginative, inspirational imagery for the Nokia app development community will win R15,000, and those who create the second and third place designs can take home R3000 and R2000, respectively. Submissions are still being accepted until 20 July 2012, so if Adobe Illustrator is your middle name, get cracking.

However, if minesweeper or solitaire is the extent of your computer literacy, you can still participate. Simply do your part to help by going to Springleap.com and voting on the design submission you think should win. Every vote counts, as the judges will pick the top three winning designs from a pool of the 15 designs that receive the most crowdsourced votes.

And remember, keep a watchful eye on our Twitter and Facebook accounts for the post announcing the winner on Friday, 6 July 2012.
