At the downstairs restaurant, Richard’s Supper Stage & Bistro will dish up a three-course set menu for lunch and dinner, and upstairs, lovebirds can enjoy the four-course dinner buffet as well as a special edition of the popular Kaapse Stories performance.

Whether you’re born and bred in Cape Town or have just fallen in love with its culture, the act, which showcases the city’s diversity and gives up-close-and-personal insight into its colourful residents, makes for an enthralling and entertaining evening.

2014 VALENTINE’S DAY LUNCH & DINNER AT RICHARD’S SUPPER STAGE & BISTRO

Diners can book either a romantic lunch or dinner and feast on a three-course set menu featuring lip-smacking dishes, like a herb salad with a smoked salmon terrine wrapped in smoked salmon served on a crostini as a starter. For the mains, couples can choose between whole roast beef fillet and the baked linefish with baby potatoes and fresh vegetables. Pairs are then invited to round off this delectable meal with a heavenly dessert: decadent chocolate mousse with Grand Marnier topped with fresh strawberries.

Tickets: The bistro will open from 12pm for lunch and dinner; the meal costs R250p/p. Guests receive a complimentary glass of bubbles. Those who wish to dine from the a la carte menu are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.

2014 VALENTINE’S DAY KAAPSE STORIES PERFORMANCE & DINNER BUFFET AT RICHARD’S SUPPER STAGE & BISTRO

Enjoy a night out on the town and experience an unforgettable evening with the special Valentine’s Day rendition of the Kaapse Stories from the Mother City. Treat your valentine to a scrumptious four-course buffet dinner as well as a vibrant Mother City-inspired musical show. Couples of all ages are invited to fall in love all over again and indulge in the host of delicacies prepared by Richard’s Supper Stage & Bistro.

Tickets: Dinner and the show costs R420p/p; guests receive a complimentary glass of bubbles and ladies get a rose. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.
