Plus markets, fun runs and youth-led conversations (June 16)
The V&A Waterfront is Cape Town’s oldest working harbour and iconic retail, leisure and hospitality destination, and will be hosting the V&A Waterfront Wine Affair.
This well loved wine and food festival is the only event of its kind that takes place right at the water’s edge, offering spectacular views and the enjoyment of top Western Cape wineries and V&A Waterfront restaurants.
Participating wine estates will be represented and supported by a uniquely tailored menu from a variety of the award-winning V&A Waterfront restaurants.
The Waterfront Lookout is situated on the roof of the Breakwater Parking Garage and is the perfect host venue for the V&A Waterfront Wine Affair, with breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the Cape Town Stadium and overlooking the ocean.
“Visitors will be spoilt for choice as gourmet exhibitors and restaurants offer delicacies to savour as an accompaniment to your wines. “
“Whether it is sushi, oysters, cheese, charcuterie or perhaps a beef kebab, you will be sure to find the perfect food and wine pairing,” says Jean Dennis, Communications Manager for the V&A Waterfront.
Tickets can be purchased at Computicket: Early Bird costs R75 per person until Sunday, 25 April 2010 | R90 per person on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and R110 on Friday – all prices include wine, deli tastings and a brochure.
