The RMB Annual WineX 2011

It may be tough not to whine about the lack of the winter sunshine, but there is no excuse to whine about our wines!

Rand Merchant Bank proudly presents the annual WineX wine festival, which promises to draw thousands of wine lovers to the Cape Town City Centre in September 2011 to rejoice and revel in the nectar of the vine.

The expo provides a platform for wine enthusiasts to interact with local and international wine producers, and learn about the latest trends in winemaking, glassware and storage. 

More importantly lovers of the vine are given a glass, unlimited tastings… and…well what more could you want? Variety? Well that’s more than covered by the 1500 different wines which will be on offer from over 250 wine producers.

The event also hosts a Best- Wines- on- Show ballot, which has consistently provided a responsive yardstick on the public perception of wine quality. In use 2003, this has proved that there is a striking overlap between taste appeal and producer reputation. Good marketing or good wine? Find out for yourself this year at the RMB WineX 2011.
