What to do without spending money on a Sunday afternoon in Cape Town?

On Sunday 4 December, the SAMA winning instrumental supergroup Sterling EQ will be treating the Cape Town public to a selection of their unique brand of instrumental pop, featuring some of the crowd pleasing favourites and virtuoso showstoppers.

The four-piece, which has performed at globally publicised events and shared stages with international music icons (including Boney M and Snow Patrol), is internationally recognised for their contribution to the traditionally European Classical crossover / instrumental pop genre, to which they bring a subtle but undeniable South African flavour.

Cape Town's most esteemed artists and headliners will be bringing De Waal Park’s Edwardian bandstand to life every other Sunday, on the spectacular backdrop of Table Mountain - one of the newly announced New7Wonders of Nature!

From Afro-Jive to Afrikaans, Classical to Crossover Pop, Jazz to Ska and Flamenco to Afro-soul, the Summer Concerts in the Park will be free to the public, who are invited to bring their own picnic and enjoy the amenities of the sublime Cape Town public park which is steeped in tradition.
