Safari Half Marathon
One of the most scenic half marathons in the Western Cape
The Western Cape town of Wellington once again welcomes the Safari Half Marathon. This charity race has consistently been among the top five half marathons in Mzansi over the last five years.
Some reasons to enter the 21st Safari Marathon
- The course is a great mixture of off-road and scenic tar running.
You get to run with a big field of 4 000 to 5 000 other runners. - After the race you can make a day of it by visiting the wine farms around Wellington.
- Surrounded by the Helderberg Mountains and run through farmlands and vineyards, the course is one of the most scenic in SA.
- You can run for a cause and make a donation to a local charity, Helping Hands.
- Other activities on this day include prize-givings, beer gardens, crèche, food and drink stalls and much more.
