Moyo Kirstenbosch Winter Concert Series
A line-up of top-class live music performances sure to brighten up frosty ...
Been told you can sing? Got sick dance moves that will make Usher jealous? Then you might just have what it takes: The Cape Town auditions for the fourth season of SA’s Got Talent, one of the nation’s most beloved high-profile reality TV shows, take place at Belmont Square in Rondebosch on Saturday, 1 and Sunday, 2 June 2013 (venue was changed from The River Club).
South Africa’s most competitive all-out talent battle is looking for singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and out-of-this-world acts to entertain, enthrall and dazzle the judges and audiences! All groups and individuals of any age can enter (you must just be a resident of South Africa), and the elite who make it the finals stand a chance to not only walk away with an estimated purse of R250, 000, but also the love and adoration of Mzansi!
Hearing-impaired Durbanite Darren Rajbal took the title in 2009 with his slick dance moves; the opera singing, street sweeper from Cape Town – he didn’t leave a dry eye in the country – James Bhemgee took the 2010 title; and in 2012, pint-sized praise poet Botlhale Boikanyo took the nation by storm with her confidence, sassy performance and insightful verse. The 12-year-old starlet had South Africans in the palm of her hand during the finals.
You could be next!
How To Enter The 2013 SA’s Got Talent Auditions:
Pre-register to enter by sending an email to talent@rapidblue.com to avoid the queues, which are guaranteed to be long, and get to the venue early to secure your place in line; doors open at 7:30am and close at 12pm. Do keep in mind, if you don’t have internet access, you can register at the venue on the day.
What To Bring To The 2013 SA’s Got Talent Auditions:
So whether you’re a singer, a dancer or just your average high-flying, dare-devil acrobat who would love nothing more than getting shot out of a cannon by a monkey in a chicken suit, then you had better register to secure your spot in the line at the Cape Town auditions.
“If you have an act that is worth seeing, then we want to see it.” - ETV
