Venerable vinyl kings hit Kenilworth Karting for a steamy house music session

Castle Lite presents the ’So Strictly Vinyl‘ party featuring the masters of house music, Ryan Dent and Craig De Sousa, at the Kenilworth Karting Indoor Go-Kart Track on Friday, 14 September 2012.

Aiming to relive the early days of the new millennium - when an appreciation for house music had exploded in the Mother City, ‘So Strictly Vinyl’ puts these musical pioneers in the limelight once more. The dynamic duo will be playing the beats that first got your feet tapping, body swaying and sweat dripping from the rafters in a good ol’ fashioned warehouse. While technology will provide tricked out lighting, funked-up visuals and tremor-inducing bass, the DJs will keep it old school with turntables and vinyl all night. Besides the booty-bopping beats, party revelers get to take part in the Castle Lite Experience. Castle Lite present an ice putt-putt course, ice bars, ice crystals and the amazing Castle Lite Crew will keep your thirst at bay all night long.

Ryan Dent, one of South Africa’s most influential DJs, producers and songwriters, has been in the business for 16 years, and has taken local beats to an international level; he’s also a key member of South African band Flash Republic.

A man who needs no introduction, Craig De Sousa has a passion for music that is evident in each performance – from his gigs as a house DJ, to his roles as a radio presenter and producer. His unique style of deep and tech house has been delighting audiences since his days on the Good Hope FM radio show ‘The Night Watchmen’, with partner Dino Moran.

Tickets are available through Computicket.com at R70p/p for general tickets and R120p/p for VIP (limited to 250 tickets). General tickets will be available at the door: R70p/p before 10pm and R90p/p after 10pm.

VIP tickets allow guests to take advantage of the VIP seating areas, bar and bathrooms, as well as free access to the exclusive VIP after-party at The Bang Bar and Sushi Lounge with Ryan Dent and Craig De Sousa.
