In early September, RMB WineX returns to Cape Town for the fifth consecutive year. With the greatest number of established and new wineries under one roof, WineX is South Africa’s premier wine festival.

Once again, visitors will be able to Shop@Show, transforming their visit to WineX into a shopping expedition that is part of a virtual trip around the Cape winelands.

Sponsored by Rand Merchant Bank and partnered by British Airways Comair and Business Day/The Weekender, WineX offers wine-lovers the opportunity to visit many of the Cape’s wine routes over the three days of the show. With some 1200 wines per night on offer from over 200 South African and international producers, visitors to RMB WineX in Cape Town will be spoilt for choice.

Whether you are looking to taste and obtain rare award-winning wines (there will be numerous laureates from the 2007 Trophy Wine Show, the Decanter World Wine Awards and the International Wine Challenge, as well as an array of the Platter Guide’s and WINE Magazine's multi-starred selections), or seeking the latest well-priced treasure, WineX will bring you an infinite choice.

Hand-crafted cheese, sushi, oysters and olive oils will also be on offer, and for the discerning consumer, imported and local wine accessories and glassware will be on sale.
