Quirky and cool, the Grand Daddy Hotel in Long Street adds a touch of flair to the Mother City’s entertainment offering with the Pink Flamingo Rooftop Cinema. To celebrate the Festive Season, this edgy rooftop theatre will be screening cult classics every Monday night from 7 December 2015 until 4 January 2016.
Modelled on the concept of a drive-in, the retro cinema invites movie-goers – or Flamingoers – to take a seat amidst the world’s only rooftop trailer park while the stars of the silver screen entertain and charm you in this enchanting setting under the African sky.

TICKETS FOR THE 2015-2016 PINK FLAMINGO ROOFTOP CINEMA IN CAPE TOWN
There are four ticket types to choose from: the general ticket gets you entry to the movie, a welcome drink, popcorn and a bag of old-fashioned sweets for R100p/p (varies depending on the show), while the Gourmet Foodie ticket gives you a picnic basket filled with tasty treats for R150p/p. The third option is the Couch, which provides couch seating for two or more people for R175p/p. There is also the Love Seat option for R125 if you feel like getting cosy with your bae. Options vary, depending on availability so book quickly to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available from Granddaddy.co.za.
Flamingoers are encouraged to arrive early, as seats are not reserved; the rooftop opens at 4pm and the movie starts at 8pm sharp.
