The date is Sunday 9th July 2006 and registration from 08:00am.

The event is open to K1 and K2 Canoes, Surfski's and Touring Kayaks. The various course options also make this an ideal family event that caters for both the weekend novice and competitive racer.

This year's race follows an exciting new format with registration on Sunday (09 July 2006) and registration from 08:00am. Boats and paddles will be available on a first come, first serve basis (there will be a refundable deposit charged). This event will also form part of the unofficial "Ironman" competition (those doing the bike ride, the run and the paddle).

The Knysna Lagoon Challenge comprises 3 Route Options: long (approx 20km), short (approx 6km) and guppy 2km.
