The innovative Fork tapas restaurant in Cape Town's inner city offers up a fresh spin on fine dining. Expect a fusion of contemporary European cuisine with a unique South African twist.
Fork tapas restaurant on Long Street is a great place to relax and unwind. This vibrant Cape Town restaurant is bustling with activity on a Friday night, and the eclectic crowd, minimalist interior and intimate lighting adds to the restaurant's laid-back feel on other nights.
Food is served in small 'Fork sized' portions, meant to be shared with friends; The way tapas should be eaten.
Fork’s daily special - which has been cleverly put together by the Head Chef Jonathan Japha - comprises of a combinations of flavours which compliments each other and gives the customer a real insight in the art of Tapas.
A homemade Moroccan meatball with a rich tomato sauce A Chicory leave stuffed with tomatoes, lettuce, olives and both parmesan and gorgonzola cheese A Vegetable cake made with potatoes and leeks A Butternut and hummus stack A Puff pastry filled with wild mushrooms and parmesan chees.
The price includes a choice of white or Red wine and any coffee and the special is available from Monday to Saturday between 12.00pm and 18.00pm
Booking a reservation at the restaurant is recommended for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
