Local pop-rock diva Louise Carver will be performing at the Kirstenbosch Winter Warmer Concert on Sunday 2 July 2006 at 6pm.
Trained as a classical pianist, Louise Carver began writing her own songs at age 11 and released her first single when she was 17. She was selected as one of Levi's Original Artists for 2004 and released her second album 'Silent Scream', which combines a blend of folksy rock and catchy pop, in 2005. Tickets for the Kirstenbosch Winter Warmer Concerts are R90 per person (Botanical Society members pay R81) and include a welcome drink and starter course of soup. The concerts take place on Sunday evenings from 6pm - 8:30pm (drinks and starters served from 6:00pm).
