James Blunt is coming to Cape Town! James Blunt will be performing 3 live shows in South Africa this May 2008. The live concerts were announced by Cape radio station KFM 94.5 and Big Concerts.

Kicking off at The Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg on the 24th of May, before heading to the Botanic Gardens in Durban on the 26th, and finally The Grand Arena at Grand West Casino & Entertainment World in Cape Town on the 28th of May 2008

“James Blunt is incredibly popular among our listeners and his songs are always requested on our playlist,” said Kfm 94.5 Station Manager, Colleen Louw.

“Fans and critics alike have described Blunt as a ‘fearless performer who consistently pushes his music to the edge’ and his concert is guaranteed to be an absolute showstopper.”

Blunt, who heads to Cape Town on the 28th of May after a string of concerts in the UK, US, Europe, China and Japan, was quoted saying “Touring is the most fun you can possibly have. Being able to perform live with my band is such a great thrill”.

His new album, “All the Lost Souls,” which features the hit single “1973”, and “Same Mistake”, was released in September last year, and has already reached Platinum status in South Africa, being play-listed on almost every radio station in Mzansi.
