This Halloween the critters at the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town are coming out for a spooktacular evening of ghoulish delights; the aSCAREium programme at this V&A Waterfront main attraction has something for moms, dads and kids alike on Saturday, 27 October 2012.
Children (and adults) are encouraged to unleash their imagination and dress for the occasion; pirates and mermaids, princes and princesses, fairies and superheroes (of ALL ages) are all welcome at the aSCAREium. Each corner of the venue will host a themed area offering fun activities, including creative and interactive arts and crafts, magic shows, face painting and games. Families can spend the evening exploring the aquarium, and discovering the underwater creatures it houses.
Keep the hunger at bay with light meals available at the in-house restaurant, Shoreline Café (operating until 8pm), and for snacks or treats, the tuck shop at the AfriSam Children’s Play Centre will be open until 10pm.
