The Cape Town World Cinema Festival invites all for the
Grand Opening & Red Carpet Premiere of Tsotsi, a movie directed by
Gavin Hood annd starring Zola, Presley Chweneyagae, Mothusi Magano,
Zenzo Ngqobe, & Kenneth Nkosi.
Tsotsi tells six days in the life
of a young gang leader in Johannesburg, who ends up caring for a
baby
accidentally kidnapped during a car-jacking. The film is a
psychological thriller that puts a human face on both the victims and
the
perpetrators of violent crime and is ultimately a story of hope and a
triumph of love over rage.
After the movie, which starts at 19:00 hrs, an after party will be organised from 10pm onwards.
