Raise your glass and bid winter adieu
As the last days of winter come to a close, what better way to pay homage to the retreating season than with a day spent relaxing in a warm, cosy environment with over 20 of the Franschhoek Valley’s finest wineries within easy reach. The Franschhoek Winter Wines showcase at the Franschhoek Motor Museum at L’Ormarins Estate on Saturday, 4 August 2012 is, luckily, providing that perfect opportunity.
Not to mention, slated to join the full-bodied Cabernets and spicy Shiraz’s is live entertainment as well as a chance to peruse the Franschhoek Motor Museum collection, an impressive range that chronicles over 100 years of motoring history, from vehicles to motorcycles, bicycles and other fascinating memorabilia.
So, spend the day unwinding in this beautiful, tranquil setting. Not only will there be fine wine for the wine connoisseurs, but eager beavers can also take the opportunity to engage with the winemakers and enjoy their undivided attention.

This exclusive event runs from 12pm until 5pm. Tickets go for R180p/p, and this includes a tasting of all the wines on show, as well as free entry into the Franschhoek Motor Museum. Tickets can be purchased through Webtickets, and it is strongly recommended you book in advance, as tickets are limited to 350 people only.
