Clickety clack, don't look back, in rattles the caravan and out jump our friends. One by one, two by three, the troupe steps lightly and quickly unpack. The space is made ready and now you are free to join in the wonderment and join us for Tea at the Contermanskloof Wine Estate.
The Flamjangled Tea Party in Durbanville is a party within a party within a party within a party within a party within a party.
It is a festival, outdoors, different, eclectic, artistic, humorous, glittering, freaky, funky, jiving, up-beat, jazzy, swinging, sizzling, folksy, rock n rollin', wonderful, gentle, silly, naughty and great.
You can enjoy, laugh, listen, watch, join-in, party, dance, eat, sleep, drink, camp, make merry, bring everyone you know (no pets though), swim and relax all weekend long from Friday to Sunday.
You should dress-up, dress-up some more, share your hidden talent, participate, invite anyone you like, be whoever or whatever you want to be, bring toys, bring a blanket to sit on (and leave behind to donate to a local charity).
It has themed areas, a fine selection of party spaces and stages, performance art, over the top theatrics, absurd activities, larger than life installations, plenty of grassed fields to camp in, amazing food vendors and lots for you to enjoy.
