Encounters has a line-up that is guaranteed to get those cogs turning this year
The 15th Encounters South African International Documentary Festival is back this year, from Thursday, 6 to Sunday, 16 June 2013, with a line-up that will keep you glued to screens in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
“Our small team of reviewers scoured through 487 entries to compile a programme of international and local films. We are proud to present the 2012 line-up of the last year’s most compelling documentaries; award-winners, festival darlings, SA world premières and fresh student films,” says Mandisa Zitha, Festival Director.
So, whether you’re a diehard film buff or merely just someone with an penchant for popcorn, get ready to partake in what is promised to be the most interesting and enlightening programme yet, with three master classes and presentations, a SAGE editing seminar and two panel discussion for the urgent and essential South African film “Can’t Just Fold Your Arms”.
