Catch your breath with some wine tasting

The Devon Valley Run just outside of Stellenbosch is making its big return onto the events calendar - the 5th November 2011.

The debut run in 2003 attracted an amazing 1650 entrants to its seven wine cellars. With over 11 wineries, the esteemed Devon Valley Hotel, House of JC Le Roux, restaurants and businesses on the route participating this year, the run is set to break some records.

Located in the picturesque Devon Valley on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, a 15km ‘race’ in which ‘competitors’ are encouraged to enjoy the moment and outing rather than to strive to finish in a respectable time.

Combining running, enjoying the fruit of the vine and fancy dress into one, entrants are urged to use their creative talents, connoisseur credibility (or not), to share in this unusual day’s enjoyment.

Breakfast bites and other snacks will be on sale at the various stops - please pack some extra cash for these refreshments. All wine tastings are included in your main entry fee. Non alcoholic beverages are available for the non-drinker, designated drivers or our young participants.

Entry forms and other information are available on the website below and tickets cost R65p/p or R750 per company if you bring your collegues along.
