J&B Met 2007: More information on J&B Met 2006 in Cape Town.

South Africa's biggest horse racing event it is, but the highly anticipated J&B Met at Kenilworth Race Course is so much more than just competing thoroughbreds. It is all the rage on the social calendar for celebrities, yuppies, sport stars, and of course the array of dazzling fashionistas that come flocking to Cape Town every year for the horse racing event.

Fashion is hugely pivotal to this exciting event, as Cape Town's fashion gurus show off their latest designs, and the best-dressed couples win prizes for their fashion flair.

A prestigious occasion that gets the champagne flowing as the tension for the big race mounts, the R1.5-million prize money is in keeping with its status as the premier horseracing event in South Africa.
