Haute Cabriere restaurant, the home of Pierre Jourdan wines will be open for a decadent three course Christmas lunch this festive season in the Cape Winelands. Set in the picturesque Franschoek Wine Valley with an extensive terrace overlooking the vineyards below; it’s the perfect backdrop to spend with family and friends on the special day.

Please take note that you're reading the 2011 event. Haute Cabriere Restaurant is open on 24 December for lunch and Christmas Eve dinner.  Tasting room is open 09h00-14h00.

The tasting room and restaurant are closed 25 and 26 December. 
Haute Cabriere Restaurant is open 31 December for lunch and New Year's Eve dinner. Tasting room is open from 09h00-14h00.

Christmas Lunch Menu

Starters
Pinapple and vanilla gazpacho
Duck liver parfait, blueberry chutney, five spice brioche, burnt butter vinaigrette
Smoked prawn salad, roasted cashew nuts, crispy coconut, curried butter vinaigrette

Main course
Crown roasted chicken, apple glazed gammon, mint roasted lamb leg and rosemary gravy, roast potatoes, glazed carrots with broccoli and almonds

Dessert
Assiettte of Christmas desserts: Pudding served with homemade vanilla ice cream, mince pies, jelly and custard
