The Cape Town Pride Festival is an annual celebration of the gay community in Cape Town.

No Cape Town Pride Festival would be complete without the inclusion of Mr & Miss Cape Town Pride Pageant in the line up of events.

This event, taking place on the 16th of February 2008, is always well-supported by a large cross-section of the gay community from across the racial and cultural divide.

The contestants and participants in the Pride Pageant have the support and backing from their families, friends and their individual local communities who form part of the large audience.

To ensure that these title holders are visible throughout the Calendar of Events at Cape Town Pride, it has been decided to host this Pageant before the official Cape Town Pride Festival begins.
