Taking place on Sunday 11 September, the Cape Town marathon and 10 km courses both start and end at Hartleyvale Stadium in Observatory.

The fast, flat Cape Town marathon course offers a wonderful opportunity for a personal best; an easy course for novice runners, with a generous cut-of time and the opportunity of getting an excellent seeding for the 2006 Old Mutual Two Oceans.

This course, with a true Cape Town flavour, will take in parts of Pinelands, Athlone, Rondebosch and Claremont, so there is plenty of variety in the route and there are great opportunities for spectator support. The 10 km event is suitable for runners and walkers.
