The Cape Town Festival is one of the highlights of the year when it comes to art, culture, music, poetry and other performing arts. One of the events featured is the Visual Arts Festival 2006. There are currently 3 visual arts projects that have been earmarked for inclusion into festival 2006. The proposals are being project managed externally and the idea is that the project managers raise their own funding. The final programme will be determined by the proposals received and arts committee selection. The aim is to use as many festival venue spaces as possible to create a positive festival vibe during the month of March.
