The Cape Town Festival is one of the highlights of the year when it comes to art, culture, music, poetry and other performing arts. One of the events is the Cape Town Youth Festival.

This is the largest youth arts and culture festival in South Africa and includes a Workshop Programme  featuring a full day programme featuring museum, a Public Programme  (March 6-18th) that includes art exhibitions at venues in and around Company's Garden and Come & Play activities such as a jumping castle, indigenous games, face painting, giant board games and sports activities.

The last component is the Festival Youth Day (March 18th),featuring professional headliners and school performances by primary and high schools from various communities in Cape Town performing works from their repertoires.
