The Cape Town Festival is an annual highlight when it comes to art, culture, music, poetry and other performing arts. One of the events featured is the Cape Town International Short Film Festival ( 6- 24 March). This festival was launched in partnership with Sithengi and The V&A Waterfront as the first open air short film festival in South Africa. From 8PM - 10:30 PM each night, short films under 30 minutes will be presented each evening as a free event open to the public. The films relate to the lives, the hopes and the dreams of the diverse cultures living in South Africa, Africa and the African Diaspora.
