Cape Town's Nightlife is looking at one of the Best and Legendary Parties for a 100th time..
Motown brought on the Soul uprising with the likes of The Supremes, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye and The Temptations. It could be said that the label truely reflects a large part of American musical heritage. Funk came straight after, and then finally Disco was born. Clubbing would never be the same again....
Cape Town's Mofunk party is an evening of Motown, Disco and Funk. The Mo Funk team providing the backdrop to your hedonistic Cape Town Club Saturday have been with us since the beginning. At the The Bang Bang Club address, Trevor Mitchell aka Grandmaster Flashback kicks things off with some sexy soul, followed by Mr Mo, dropping some dirty funk tracks with that rare groove flavour for your best party in Cape Town.
Finally legendary Nick Birky of "The Magnet" fame rounds things up, playing cult Disco anthems and cult classics.
