The eyes of soccer fans around the world will be on South Africa much sooner than the 2010 World Cup.

The country is all set to host the 2009 Confederations Cup, a tournament which is widely seen as being a warm-up for the 2010 Soccer World Cup. Here is the final schedule of the 2009 Confederations Cup Group A matches.

The Confederations Cup Group A matches will be spread over all four of the Confederations Cup stadiums.

Each stadium will host Group A matches and Group B matches, and all except the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria will host matches from the penultimate and last rounds, i.e. the semi-finals, the third-place play-off and the final.
