New Emerald Point Boutique Hotel Cape Town

New 5 Star hotel in Cape Town's Mouille Point

The new Emerald Point Boutique Hotel, located in highly sought after residential area of Cape Town’s Mouille Point, offers impressive views of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as Table Mountain and Robben Island.

The five star hotel development
overlooks Cape Town’s new Green Point Stadium precinct, which includes the beautifully designed 2010 Stadium, a urban park and a new golf course within walking distance.

The site of the Emerald Boutique hotel offers sea views to the North East and spectacular mountain views to the South West.

Finishes for the new 5 star hotel include extensive use of clean lines, combined with natural materials such as dry stack stone, cladding elements and timber screens, louvers and pergolas.

Doors and windows at the Emerald hotel are to be powder coated aluminum and balustrades combine a nautical cable feel with stainless steel handrails.

Each suite will have one dedicated parking bay situated in two basements. Suites and basement parking are served by a scenic high-speed lift and the building has two fire escape staircases.

All luxury suites are obviously fully air-conditioned with individual thermostatic control.

Suites in the Emerald Point
hotel will be open planned bathroom/bedroom in line with the international trend with separate toilet facilities.

This approach offers a more
efficient utilization of space and the opportunity to visually celebrate features such as the freestanding oval bath.

Toilets and showers will be
screened off with the use of partially obscured glass screens.

The Hotel is situated within a
short walk of four highly acclaimed restaurants and two coffee bars. It is a five minute walk to the nearest beach and a twenty minute walk to the V & A Waterfront.

Molo says: “the Mouille Point is being upgraded and will certainly deliver an excellent surrounding for five star accommodation. Sea view combined with an excellent boulevard for sun set walks, and its close proximity to the V&A Waterfront make it excellent.

Mouille Points’ top class restaurants
such as Pepenero, and the new Geisha restaurant, the cosy and excellent Dewport Deli, as well as nice sun downers at the Radisson hotel provide perfect settings.

The highly acclaimed sushi
restaurant Wakame, with its sunset bar Wafu is reopening in September, so will underway for summer. Also read our review on new hotels and accommodation in Cape Town and surrounds.”
