Jardine Restaurant is the home of multiple award-winning Scottish chef George Jardine.
George prefers not to categorise his cooking style, but does admit that his dishes are founded on contemporary European techniques and South Africa’s finest seasonal produce.
The main dining area upstairs at this Cape Town restaurant offers seating for 70 guests and offers them a view of George and his winning team while they prepare the dishes on order.
The tables on the wrap-around balcony are away from the hustle and bustle of the kitchen and offer guests a cosmopolitan view of the street below.
The ground floor level offers guest a homely atmosphere where they can enjoy wines by the glass, pre-dinner drinks or an unique Jardine cocktail, which could possibly contain a home-made brew such as prickly pear syrup or sweet balsamic jelly.
