This weekend, Mercury Live presents an Inner Circle acoustic evening with the likes of Farryl Purkiss who is a singer-songwriter from Cape Town and is signed to 2Feet Music, Simon van Gend who launched their new album at Mercury Live on the 18 October 2008 at Mercury Live and Lounge, Ian Henderson, a singer-songwriter who hails from Cape Town, and Josh Grierson who has been around since January 2006.

Mercury Live and Lounge is one of the most renowned live music venues in Cape Town and is situated in the inner city area of Zonnebloem.

Many great bands made a name for themselves here, such as the legendary Sugardrive, Springbok Nude Girls and Boo, and many of today’s top Bellville bands also play here on a regular basis.
