Sandy Bay is a stunning gay-friendly beach on the other side of Llandudno ( a short drive from Cape Town). Sandy Bay is also Cape Town's unofficial nudist beach, making it the perfect place for an all-over tan. The beach has white sandy dunes and an excellent view over the Atlantic ocean. Sandy Bay is surrounded by steep, white dunes and mountain slopes. Follow the signs on the road from Llandudno to Hout Bay. The beach iis a 20 minute walk from the carpark. You can also reach it via Llandudno, but it will require a bit of boulder climbing.
