Easter Treats at Backsberg Estate
Backsberg Wine Estate has got something special lined up for children and adults for every day of the Easter Weekend 2009!
Backsberg Wine Estate is definitely the place for you and your family to be this Easter!
On Easter Sunday they will be having their traditional and much-loved lamb-on-the-spit Sunday lunch served with Linda's famous roast potatoes, a buffet of fresh salads and vegetables, and rounded off with a dessert.
There are also fantastic all-weekend activities lined up for the kids, such as egg hunting and goodie-basket making, with an Easter treasure hunt and a craft hour.
Children will meet on the Manor House Lawn then set off in search of treasures hidden in Backsberg’s beautiful gardens.
These treasures will fill the hollow chocolate eggs which will be waiting for them back in the Manor House kitchen, where the real fun will start.
Here renowned chef, Dalene Kapah, will assist the children to decorate cupcakes, biscuits and other sweet treats to make up a personalised Easter hamper for the family.
Parents can enjoy a leisurely lunch at the restaurant any day of the Easter weekend, and freshly baked Easter goodies will be on sale.
