Fantasy becomes reality, heroes are remembered and strange things are happening this weekend. Rapunzel, Popeye, Peter Pan and others do circus tricks while punk meets jazz meets alt rock in Gardens.
The Gugulethu 7 are commemorated in a play at UCT and the castle gets turned into a dance venue with spectacular displays. There’s also a market where you can find treasures and trade your old stuff for it.
Come to think of it, Sunday is both Youth Day and Father’s Day, so a) your weekend carries over into Monday and b) we have more things to do this weekend.
