From FanCon to AfrikaBurn, Here are the Events to Get Excited About in April

Three dorpies are hosting the biggest festivals of the month, and there are a host of specialty events in the CBD and winelands

Autumn has officially started, and though the light and the warm months have started to dwindle, it’s no reason to tone down on the adventure. For one, there’s a lot going on in April. See our pick of awesome things to do this month.

THE GALILEO OPEN AIR CINEMA (OCT 2018 – APR 2019)
If the idea of cuddling up under the stars while watching a movie, munching popcorn and intermittently gazing at gorgeous surrounds appeals to you, then best you book your spot to watch your favourite movie at one of The Galileo Open Air Cinemas. Every week, cinephiles can grab some popcorn (or other tasty gourmet treats from the vendors on site), settle down on the lush lawns at Kirstenbosch Gardens, the V&A Waterfront's Battery Park, and various venues in Cape Town and the Cape Winelands to see firm favourites, cult classics and many others.

COST: Tickets are available via Webtickets.co.za and costs vary according to the package selected. Click through to the event for more information on the line-up and costs.
