Celebrate the last of summer with these cool things to do in the Mother City
We have just entered the third month of the year and it promises to be a fun-filled 31 days. We are leaving summer behind (cue sad face) and entering autumn, but that doesn’t mean the excitement stops there. This month also boasts the public holiday Human Rights Day on 21 March, as well as the religious holiday Good Friday on 30 March.
OMMIBERG HARVEST CELEBRATION (3 MAR)

Children under the age of 18 enter for free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets are also available at the gate on the day for R180/p.
CAPE TOWN CYCLE TOUR (11 MAR)
This annual sporting event is going completely “off the grid” by bringing in their own water for the Cycle Tour. After the event was cancelled last year due to severe wind conditions (damn you, south easter), cyclists are eager for this year’s event to take place without any hiccups.
