Get on your dancing shoes and get ready to ride with Moonshine; “It’s jazz with a kick.” Moonshine is a band led by saxophonist Dan Shout, who features music from Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald to Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra and also Marvin Gaye. The show starts in the Roaring 20's, travels through the Swingin' 30's and 40's, ending with the classic rock 'n' roll and Motown sounds of the 1950’s and 60’s. GET TO THE FIRST-EVER WEST COAST AIR SHOW
There’s so much to see at the West Coast Saldanha Bay Air Show, which is one day only on 1 October, 2022, as school holidays begin. Besides the spectacular planes doing their maneouvres, there’ll also be exotic cars, 4x4s and drones on display, plus there’ll be drag racing and drones races.

PARTY AT THIS CULTURE FESTIVAL ON SATURDAY
Rands is hosting an epic lifestyle festival this week, including music, art, comedy, sports, fashion and dance exhibitions. Taste the Culture Lifestyle Festival attracts over 20 000 festival goers from all over South Africa. The main event is on Saturday, 1 October, headlined by jazz maestro Mandisi Dyantyis and hip-hop sensation K.O, with over 25 exhibitions and wine and food tastings.

JOIN A 5KM WALK AND TALK THIS SUNDAY
Meet friendly, like-minded peeps at the Sleekgeek Health Revolution walk at Mouille Point. It's a beginners-level 5km walk, so everyone is welcome (kids, too). GET A TATTOO AT THIS FESTIVAL
All aspiring tattoo artists and addicts, pop into the Khayelitsha Tattoo Festival this Saturday and meet the best ink artists in Cape Town. The festival will be hosted in the heart of Khayelitsha and will be a fun-filled experience. It brings together a number of tattoo artists, studios and other interested parties to raise awareness about hygiene and safe tattooing practices.

LEARN HOW TO DO ORIGAMI
Every weekend you can join in a live art experience at Art Haus Gallery. Artist Juanne-Pierre De Abreu (JooJ), the Guinness World Record holder of the largest display of origami butterflies, will teach you the ancient Japanese art of origami as he creates his new exhibition, “Reimagining the Greats”. HIKE TO A MYSTICAL WATERFALL
Unwind by hiking to a waterfall in Cecilia Forest. There are many routes to get there: Cecilia car park, Newlands Forest, Constantia Nek and Kirstenbosch Gardens. The routes differ in duration and difficulty, but all lead to the breathtaking water gushing over hanging ferns and green mosses. All the routes are pet friendly and most of them are free!
