Upskill your life with these short courses

Free courses from Harvard and UCT, wine, fashion, digital skills and more

For a lot of us, it can feel as though lockdown has put our world on hold. And for those of us who are able, spending more time at home is a reality in the coming months. Use the time to become an Ivy League graduate, learn to code, and follow your calling as a wine connoisseur with some of these awesome courses you can do online.

FIND OUT WHAT REALLY LIVES UNDER THE SEA
The Two Oceans Aquarium has launched two online courses for kids, teens and young adults to do from home. Over July and August let the little ones discover rock pool animals, sharks and turtles. For high school students or young adults get a more in-depth look at single-celled protists to complex mammals and find out what really lives in our oceans.
Price: Ocean Fun-atics course is R60 per class and R300 for all five. The Marine Biobasics course is R1000 per person.

BECOME AN IVY LEAGUE GRADUATE
Harvard University has released hundreds of free online courses, from Foundations of Global Health or an Introduction to Computer Science to Architectural Studies or Writing and Public Speaking.
