Totalsports Challenge 2007: One Team, Seven Challenges

An absolute must on the New Year's resolution list for multi-sport athletes and enthusiasts is the Totalsports Challenge in Cape Town

Multi-sport enthusiasts, fitness junkies and lovers of the outdoors will have a great opportunity to test their endurance level at this 7-stages event taking place in Kleinmond.

Get your adrenalin pumping by entering this exhilarating event that sees contestants battle it out in seven different sport disciplines. The action kicks off in Gordon's Bay and promises a dramatic finish on Kleinmond main beach.

Entrants will need to complete a 12km surfski, 1.5km swim, 50km road bike, 13km road run, 13km K1 canoe, 25km mountain bike and finally a 9km beach run. Participants can compete individually or in teams of two, three or seven.

Even if you're not keen on participating in this endurance-heavy experience, The Totalsports Challenge promises to be an exciting test of stamina and expertise with loads of action for spectators.

Forming part of the magnificent Big Blue Festival, it is the ideal family weekend getaway. With additional touch rugby tournaments, fun runs, the Mr and Miss Blue competition, mouth-watering food and superb entertainment, this event is one not to be missed!
