Watch the country’s most promising young soloists and conductors perform with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra
The 3rd Len van Zyl Conductors’ Competition sees three brilliant young musicians performing solos with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and three young conductors that have made it to the third and final round of this prestigious competition.
The performance takes place at the Cape Town City Hall on Sunday, 14 February 2016.
Prepare to be awed by these young and highly talented artists adding their own spirit and flair to classics by Korsakov, Dvořák and Wagner, among others.
The show is the culmination of a competition that gives participants an opportunity to take part in specialised master classes to fine tune their skills.
You won’t want to miss this truly special event taking place right here in our pretty city. The grand finale is guaranteed to blow you away.

Ticket prices range between R75p/p and R180p/p, depending on seating selection. You can either get your tickets via Computicket.com or directly from Artscape Theatre by calling them on +27 (0)21 421 7695.
Remember that cameras, as well as bringing own drinks and snacks is prohibited. A variety of refreshments will be available from the theatre bar.
