Steamy Soulful Electronica at The Vinyl DIGZ & Novel Kitchen Party at True Music Pop-Up

The Vinyl DIGZ and Novel Amsterdam plan to bring a steamy selection of soulful electronic music to The Kitchen Party

Vinyl DIGZ and organisers NOVEL Amsterdam will be hosting a steamy kitchen party of soulful electronic music from the Mother City to the capital of the Netherlands at True Music Pop-Up on Saturday, 10 March 2018 from 10pm to 4am.

The vinyl store and NOVEL have partnered up to bring both local and international DJs to the same party with a line-up featuring Cape Town vinyl DJ Pierre-Estienne and DJs Anèl and Amíl from Amsterdam.

DJing since 1999, Pierre-Estienne is one of Cape Town’s most loved vinyl DJs with an impressive record collection which he began in 1984. Pierre has picked up vinyls from Berlin to Tokyo, ranging from disco, house to modern day electronica. He’ll be bringing the house down with his close to 35-year collection of great vinyl jams.

The Kitchen Party will be doing good while having fun, as all profits will go towards the Clean Cooking Revolution, a social venture that aims to improve the lives of those living in townships by providing clean cookstoves to homes, in the effort to reduce the toxic smoke released when cooking with charcoal or paraffin.
