CAPE TOWN CARNIVAL 2019 DATES
Cape Town's annual spectacular of dance, costumes and performance art happens on 16 March 2019. And you can expect more revelry and, especially, colourful floats with empowering themes, from “Facing your Fears” to “Cellphone Zombies”, ones that promote positive social activism and ones that instil the ideals of becoming freedom fighters in our communities and escaping the “Mad Machine”

Access to the family-friendly festival and end-party is absolutely free.
The fiesta’s festivities usually kick off at 3pm in Green Point, and the parade procession gets underway at 7pm. But even after it’s completed its incredible journey, revellers can count on rocking late into the night at the after party.
