Sip, Sip, Hooray – This Beer And Wine Fest Is Back For It’s 8th Run
Bigger and better than last year, the Cape Gate Craft Beer And Wine Festival will see local craft breweries and some of SA’s best wine farms in 2018’s edition
The Western Cape is known for its fine wining experiences and buzzing local craft beer scene. The magnitude of choices can become slightly overwhelming, but luckily, there’s a festival for everything. The 8th annual CapeGate Craft Beer and Wine Festival is back and better than last year, being hosted at a bigger space with a fantastic lineup to sip and savour.
For the first time in the festival’s history, 2018’s edition will include over 20 local craft beer breweries and wineries, as well as some of South Africa’s most-loved wine farms in the more spacious underground parking area of the centre.
Festival-goers can expect great food from a host of food trucks, and live music performances to keep the festive spirit going. Tailgate is one of the food trucks attending that has been announced so far, serving up pork ribs, chicken wings, bacon bites and pulled pork. Proudly South African bands The Professors and The Pedestrians will be performing on both Friday and Saturday afternoon and evening.
