Loud and Powerful, Ride a Harley for Free
Head out to Paarl de Ville in Durbanville to ride some of the latest models in this iconic brand
Cruising with the wind in your face, heavy metal between your thighs, an engine as pumping as your heart rate and “Born To Be Wild” earworming your mind. That’s what it feels like to ride a Harley-Davidson®. Well at least that’s what we think it feels like.
You won’t need to use your imagination when Harley-Davidson Tyger Valley brings a fleet of their mean machines to Paarl de Ville in Durbanville for a demo day on 26 May 2019.
HOW DO YOU GET TO RIDE?
You only need to show up and wait your turn to take the Harley on a 24.5km round trip of the R312. This is a highway surrounded by farmland offering beautiful scenery and the opportunity to open up the bike and test its power and credentials.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM THESE HARLEYS?
Ashleigh Vos, marketing manager for Harley-Davidson Tyger Valley, believes you’ll get more than you bargained for when you ride a Harley for the first time. “I imagine that many riders will be surprised at the comfort of these machines and the fact that with the correct skill and some bravery, a Harley motorcycle can push the idea of being an ‘old man’s bike’ right out the window.”
WHAT BIKES WILL BE AT THE SHOW?
Vos says they’ll be bringing a big range of Harleys from Tourers to Softails and Sportsters. You could have anything from 1200cc to 1870cc powering you around the Killarney Raceway. Here’s a list of the bikes that’ll be there. Click the images for more specs.
