OmmiBerg "Round the Rock" 2010

A unique opportunity to taste the first of the 2010 vintage across the route

OmmiBerg ‘Round the Rock’ 2010 hits the Paarl Wine Route on Saturday March 13th. Unfiltered and straight from the tank in the middle of harvest time, the event pairs the wines with creative adaptations of the traditional onion tart... along with other unusual gourmet offerings.

Children can enjoy pony rides, slip-n-slides, tractor and trailer rides, while cooking demonstrations, art exhibitions and glass blowing is there to entertain the moms.

Traditional harvest activities such as cellar tours, grape stomping and grape tastings will keep dads occupied, while the young at heart can zip around the Paarl Rock in a Cessna or Helicopter and chill to the tunes of Zinkplaat, Pieter Smith and other live bands.

Tickets can be purchased at your first port of call (farm) on the day and price includes a stylish Tasting Glass, access pass and programme.

Tasting of the 2010 young wine is for free and you will need to present your access pass and glass in order to take part in the free events or taste wine.
