Mini Wolfie Weekend: Family, Camping and Howling at the Moon
A riverside family camping, music and theatre festival by the people behind Wolfkop Weekender
Wolfkop Camping Villages in Citrusdal is a great place for a camping getaway. Perhaps best known for their popular Wolfkop Weekender festivals and events throughout the year, this one’s extra-special: the Wolfie Family Festival is a weekend of fun, camping or glamping and entertainment on the banks of the Olifants River. After a successful first edition in 2018, it’s back from Thursday 28 February to Monday 4 March 2019.

ACTIVITIES, FUN AND GAMES
Expect pop-up theatres, live music, an animal garden, kiddies’ craft activities, stargazing talk and experience, canoeing, bonfire stories and more. You can see the weekend programme online.
From African theatre by the Jungle Theatre Company to insane pyrotechnics with the Psychedelic Theatre, there will be an array of show-stopping performances. Speaking of performances, there’ll also be great music acts like blues man Gerald Clarke and eclectic Basson Laubscher, among others.
BE CAPTURED AND AND WIN
Photographer Romy Chevallier has a passion for nature and wildlife and will be at the festival with her camera. Find Romy to have your best activity shot taken to capture the memories. There is also an action shot competition where you and your family could win free tickets for next year’s event if you share your shots with #wolfiefamiliefestival #wolfiefamilyfestival.
