Authenticity everywhere you look, dogs gallivanting and kids doing the same. The stalls of the Country Craft Market are exclusively reserved for the handmade and the one-of-a-kind. These delightful objects and all their makers will be there for you to browse and talk to, respectively.
The market season kicks back into gear on Saturday 29 September at the Country Craft Market in Somerset West 9am–2pm. As suggested earlier, the market is pet- and child-friendly, so it really is an outing for the whole family. There is free and safe parking for all you marketgoers and enthusiasts of the handmade and unique, from plants to clothes and baskets, soaps and hand-painted tiles.
The Country Craft Market is one-of-a-kind because it’s the – temporary – home to many one-of-a-kind items made by your fellow Capetonians, so if you’d like to get your hands on some of these unique goods, or just browse the makeshift aisles with your friends and family – both furry and human – then swing by and see what happens.
