Get Faded: Head To Woodstock To Celebrate The Most Classic of all Cuts

Faded Friday celebrates the much-loved fade haircut

Area Code invites you to join them for Faded Friday – a day of celebrating the most classic of all haircuts, the fade. Head down to The Palms Décor and Lifestyle Centre in Woodstock on Friday 16 November for an afternoon of grooming and mingling with the most authentic barbers around town.

Area Code is an urban brand encompassing an underground magazine, concept store, barbershop, photography studio and workspace. At the heart of the initiative is their aim to build a dialogue around South African life through the intersections of art and culture.

Fades will start at R180/p, and if you bring a friend for a cut too, you’ll get R30 off your fade. Cuts need to be booked beforehand and, therefore, you’re not guaranteed a spot. However, because Faded Friday is part of a bigger initiative, Area Code encourage anyone to pop in for a chat and to celebrate the fade.
