Not only is this a great way to get the kids outdoors for a bit of fresh air, but it’s also a special way for them to make new friends while learning about Mother Nature. The voyage will take three hours with stops for different activities. They will get a chance to get those creative juices flowing with an art element that lets them build and create pieces within nature.
Physical activity will be balanced with learning so that the kids get an opportunity to really appreciate their surroundings. There will be a lesson on the importance of the environment and how to treat nature with caution and respect.
WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED
The venue will be announced closer to the time so keep an eye on the Weekend Wellness’s Facebook page. But the walk will take place in and around Hout Bay, Constantia and Kirstenbosch.
